The first ECIU Creathon will kick-off this Friday at the UT. It is organised by Novel-T and DesignLab for ECIU members and will welcome over 80 participants.

This year’s meeting will take place in Brussels, 7 September 2018. On this occasion, the final version of the ECIU Declaration on the future of European universities to EU stakeholders will be presented.

In a paper ECIU shares different ambitions on impact, education and governance, illustrating their commitment. ‍

To realise an European Innovation Powerhouse, the ECIU would like to see that Horizon Europe pays particular emphasis on fostering excellent local European innovation ecosystems, in which innovative universities play a very important role.

Representatives from 3 ECIU partners institutions share experiences about “ECIU universities in regional development”.– from 20 to 22 of June, London

In the wake of the European Commission’s release of its outline for the Ninth Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (Horizon Europe), 14 European associations representing universities united to respond to the proposal.

The final Seminar of the ECIU Leadership Development Programme will take place in Hamburg, 13 – 16 November 2018 (in the framework of the ECIU Executive Board meeting.

Representatives from five ECIU partner institutions convened in Stavanger from 25.-27. April 2018 to find new opportunities for cooperation within teacher education and humanities.

The European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) supports the development of ambitious European Universities Networks by sharing ten criteria, including five ideas for activities to be funded.
