ECIU is asking universities with an ECIU profile in France and the UK to express their interests for a future membership in the consortium.
ECIU, founded in 1997, is a consortium of young research intensive universities focused on collaboration in innovative teaching and learning, internationalization of student and staff experience, and active engagement in policy development in the European context. A common characteristic of all ECIU institutions is that they are a key player in the regional innovation system. For nearly 20 years, the ECIU universities have been gaining innovative force through the pooling of expertise, mutual learning and joint projects in the framework of the association.
ECIU is a small network and the idea is to keep it small and active. At the moment we have 10 European and 2 Non-European Universities (we agreed on a max of 15 universities, one per country). At its last Board Meeting in November 2015, the ECIU Board member expressed their wish to look for an university in France and the UK (only one per country) to join the Consortium as a full member.
If your university is interested in an ECIU membership, please contact the ECIU Secretary General for further information on the application procedure: info@eciu.org
