Get ready for the first online edition of the think tank Create Tomorrow on May 29. Students will work in teams on challenges presented by case partners. ECIU University is one of them. The main goal? To come up with creative solutions and ideas in order to help the participating organizations.
For 24 hours (from Thursday evening to Friday evening), students work in teams of 4-8 people and think of solutions to cases posted by participating companies. The goal is to come up with innovative ideas that help the companies during and after the corona crisis. At the end of the day, each company chooses their case winner and an independent jury nominates the overall winner. The winning team will take home € 1000.
The think tank will include challenges from different sectors. For example, the province of Overijssel, Rijkswaterstaat, ECIU-University and VolkerWessels Telecom. Twente hospitals MST and ZGT are joining forces and will also present a challenge to the students. The challenges are focused on four specific themes; connected healthcare, energy transition, smart cities and future industries.
Since this year’s event is online, it challenges the students to be creative from home. The student teams only have 24 hours to come up with a solution.
