In 2020, ECIU Board adopted the Vision for ECIU University 2030 – based on such principles as inclusivity, collaboration, innovation and impact. To help this vision come to life, a new framework was created – Individual & Multi-stakeholder Process for Amplifying Collaborative Transformative Action or IMPACTA.
Developed within the ECIU University Impact and Dissemination work package, the framework aims to offer an in-depth look at what impact is for ECIU University. It also hopes to provide community members with a toolset that can be used to plan, track and monitor impact – laying the foundation for future co-creation, innovation and change.
Moving forward, the IMPACTA framework is set to be fully integrated into the learner – and, potentially, researcher – journeys. Meanwhile, the Toolbox will be piloted offline by the end of 2025, with online integration planned for 2026.
Learn more about the framework, its goals, and how it’s set to transform the ECIU University approach to impact in the paper below.
The IMPACTA framework is developed within the Impact & Dissemination work package, with contribution from Gio Fornell, Jan Axelsson and Konstantinos Mitropoulos (Linköping University), Marie-Agnès Détourbe (INSA Group), Emelie Ekblad and Fiona Hazell (MAD Foundation), and Oscar Redondo Mora and Teresa Sorde Marti (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).
