Energy and Environment

This course deals with the analysis of energy options and their relation to the environment, example the consumption of natural resources and the emissions of pollutants. Are identified and analysed the relationships between the energy sector, the environment and the economy, different types of energy sources and technologies of conversion and their environmental impacts. Are made simplified energy and energy analysis applied to devices and energy conversion systems.

This micro-module is organized on campus only. Available in English and in Portuguese.
